An aggressive adverse media campaign against me can be expressly observed for the last few weeks. This is to make it clear that the recent media reports associating me with the yacht fire in Bodrum are entirely false and inaccurate. For the avoidance of doubt, none of the yachts involved in the incident belong to me – despite what some reports appear to suggest without the inconvenience of verification.
I would strongly encourage media outlets and reporters to undertake the most basic due diligence and confirm facts with the relevant Turkish authorities before publishing or circulating such claims. This was clearly communicated by the Turkish media. Unfortunately, most of Azerbaijani media and sources in other countries produced completely false and inaccurate reports about this incident. Attributing losses of this nature without any factual basis is, at best, careless.
This is, regrettably, not the first time my name has surfaced in speculative reporting of this kind. The frequency of such unfounded reporting does raise questions about the standards of accuracy currently being applied.
That said, as always – I remain fully available to cooperate with any legitimate inquiries to ensure the facts are established clearly and promptly.
Finally, all media inquiries should be directed to my official representatives at the following email address: [email protected].
